Dubai-based German completes her round with seven birdies and without dropping a shot

Dubai: Dubai-based Chiara Noja shot a first round seven-under par-65 in the €37,000 Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge on the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) at Prague City Golf Club, Czech Republic on Friday.
The 16-year-old German started on tee 10 and went to the turn in 32 with birdies on 11, 14, 15 and 16. Further birdies followed on Chiara’s back nine, on holes 4, 7 and 9, with 11 pars completing her round with no dropped shots.
She has an impressive six-shot lead after 18 holes from second-placed Karolina Stara and Dominika Burdova, both amateurs from the host country, who both shot 71. Remarkably, it was only these three players who broke par all day from the 115-player field.
The 54-hole tournament is being played over the Prague City Golf Club at 6,446 yards with a par 72. Chiara is currently fourth in the LETAS Order of Merit and 2nd in the LETAS Rookie of the Year Rankings.
Chiara will play her second round on Saturday in Match 19, at 12.53pm off Tee 1.
