Dubai: Dubai-based Chiara Noja (Germany), currently on top of both the LETAS Order of Merit and the LETAS Rookie of the Year Standings, will compete this week in the €40,000 Santander Golf Tour Malaga at Torrequebrada in Spain, from Thursday-Saturday (July 21-23).
Commenting on this week’s event, Chiara said: ‘‘I have been on a long run of events without a break on Tour and travelling by car with my father / caddie, between the events plus so many other distractions has left me very tired. This week will be the last of my events before a week off, and then I am off for final Qualifying for the AIG Open, formerly the Ladies British Open at Muirfield.
‘‘It is important to continue my push for more Order of Merit Points this week, as I strive to gain my full Ladies’ European Tour for 2023 by finishing in the Top six of this years, LETAS Order of Merit,’’ continued Chiara.
Play this week is over the challenging and very hilly course at Torrequebrada that will be playing at 6041 yards and a Par 72.
Chiara’s first round tee time is at 9.28 am from Tee 1 tomorrow (Thursday) with Kristalle Blun (Aus) and Virginia Elena Carta (It).
