Brighton Junior Academy Series underway in Al Ain

Al Ain Equestrian Shooting and Golf Club had Round One of the Brighton Junior Academy Series for the 2023/2024 season after a long break for the summer holidays.

The nine hole tournament on the Academy Course was a strokeplay format.

In the over 10s category, Kai Sheldon claimed top spot with a score of net 29, this score included one net birdie and a run of three pars. Second place went to Elijah Huemer who shot a net 31, a score that included three net pars and two net birdies.

In the 10 and under category, Louis Keddie topped the leaderboard with an excellent score of net 26. His round included two net birdies and five net pars. Coming in second spot was Louis little brother Max Keddie who shot a net 29 which included five net pars and one net birdie.

The best gross score of the day went to Ralph Gill who shot a fantastic four over 31. His round included three gross pars and a very good birdie on the sixth hole.

Nearest the Pin (under 10 category) - Hole 4 - Louis Keddie

Round Two of the Brighton Junior Academy Series will be on the 12th October 2023.
