Brand new Junior Golf initiative at Tommy Fleetwood Academy

The TFA at Jumeirah Golf Estates have commenced their Junior Medal Series

A brand new Junior Golf initiative has commenced at Jumeirah Golf Estates, with the Tommy Fleetwood Academy hosting its first event in their Junior Medal Series.

The event was held over the front nine of the Fire Course with great participation of 36 Juniors playing.

Four seperate divisions

A great turnout of 36 juniors took part in the nine hole tournament on the Fire Course with four different divisions to play in which included the ‘Forward Tees’, ‘Gross Competition’, ‘Girls Competition’ and ‘TFA Tees’, a division set up with TFA tee markers for the younger juniors that don’t have a handicap, yet!

Dalia Sebti had a superb score of one under, net 35 to win the ‘TFA tees’ division by just one shot from Kiaan Maharaj who had a level par, net 36.

In the ‘Forward Tees’ Division, congratulations to Aleksander Rozhko for winning with a great score of seven under, net 29! A three shot victory from Alexsander Sales with four under, net 32 in second spot.

Camelia Sebti took the ‘Girls Competition’ with a two under, net 34. Just behind Camelia was Milana Rozhko with a score of level par, net 36.

And finally, in the ‘Gross Competition’ the winners were in fact tied. But after countback, a congratulations in order to Jameel Choudry who shot a gross 35 to win the division, a score matched by Tommy Carr JR.

Concluding the prize-giving presentation, Adam Stastny, Assistant Golf Services Manager at Jumeirah Golf Estates, thanked everyone for participating. “Thank you for your participation in the first TFA Junior Medal Series.
