Dubai: The next Qualifying Rounds for the 2022 Emirates NBD Race to Malaysia will be held at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Saturday, April 30 and at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, Abu Dhabi, on Sunday May 1.

For the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club qualifier, tee times are from 12 noon-2pm. These are the fourth and fifth qualifiers respectively of the 13 events and the season-long event is sanctioned by the Emirates Golf Federation.

The format is individual medal format with 95 per cent of Course Handicap and there are five handicap categories in each Qualifying Round:

— Up to 5.

— 6-10.

— 11-15.

— 16-20.

— 21-25.

Entries are still open for the Saadiyat Beach qualifier for all EGF Members holding a valid EGF handicap with an entry fee of Dh300 per person.

The winners of each handicap category of each qualifier will progress to the National Final of the Emirates NBD Race to Malaysia to be held at Al Hamra Golf Club, Ras Al Khaimah, on October 1.

The winners of the National Final will qualify to represent the UAE for the Race to Malaysia World Final to be held in November 2022.

The most recent qualifying round was held at Yas Links Abu Dhabi on Sunday where the following players qualified for the National Final:

Division 1 — Karl Bishop (5, Yas Links) 73.

Division 2 — Greg Nicholas (9, Yas Links) 72.

Division 3 — Andrew Lett (14, Yas Links) 72.

Division 4 — Stuart Hambleton (23, Yas Links) 71.

Division 5 — Teresa Sheepwash (24, Yas Links) 70.
