Tommy Fleetwood Academy Junior Elite Squad member, Alexander Rushika, recently won his division in the US Kids European Championships, which took place at The Glen Golf Club, Scotland.
In a field of 54 players, Alex had rounds of 73, 71 and a cracking final round of 69 to be enough for a tournament total 214 (-2). It was a great comeback from Alex in his final round with some excellent golf played, and to then win in a playoff against Germany's Henry Liebwein.
Alex has been part of the Tommy Fleetwood Academy Dubai at Jumeriah Golf Estates for a number of years now and has shown great commitment and determination this season to continue his development!
And a special mention must go to the following who were also representing the UAE at the event, Rayan Ahmed (Boys 15-18), Daniel Robinson (Boys 10), Pranit Mandge (Boys 8), Sophia Zbiri (Girls 12).
