The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship Pro-Am played on Wednesday consists of two shotgun starts at 7.15am and 12.30pm.

Each team consists of one professional and three amateurs who play 18 holes over the tournament course.

The Pro-Am model is unique to golf. What other sport can amateurs play in the environment of a tournament the day before a key event on a global sport’s tour alongside some of the best golfers in the world?

The beauty of the golf handicap system ensures that golfers of all standards can play and contend together. Good luck to all amateurs playing on Wednesday.
