Abu Dhabi: TP Mazembe Englebert from Congo created history by becoming the first African club to enter the final of the Fifa Club World Cup when they shocked South American champions SC Internacional of Brazil 2-0.

Second half goals by Mulota Kabangu and Dioko Kaluyituka snatched a memorable win for 'The Crows' who now await the winner of the second semifinal between Italian club Inter Milan and Asian Club champions Seongnam Ilhwa Chuma.

Internacional hardly looked like the Brazilian champions representing South America and most of their attacks ended on a limp note. Though they showed their intention launching their first move in the very first minute but Andres Alessandro shot over.

Internacional's best chance came in the 11th minute but Rafael Sobis, playing at his former club Al Jazira's ground, failed to put home a fine move and off the resultant flag kick Muteba Kidiaba brought off a fine save.

Internacional continued to build their attacks with short passing but once they approached the box they failed to penetrate and put the finishing touches to their attacks.

Defender Indio moved up to meet a dipping cross from Alessandro but headed across the goalmouth while in the 22nd minute the hardworking Tingo headed over.

Mazembe, despite seeing less of the ball, however refused to be cowed down and whenever they had possession did not hesitate to move forward. Dioko Kaluyituka unleashed two good runs on the flanks and one of them ended in a powerful shot but Renan under the Internacional goal punched the ball away to safety.

Crossing over Sobis was again the culprit when he missed from close range and then came the 53rd minute goal that stunned the nearly-10,000 strong supporters in the crowd of 22,131. Mulota Kabanga was given all the space and time just outside the box and the striker with the peroxide-haired 'Mohawk' haircut found the far corner giving no chance to Renan.

Sobis should have equalized six minutes later but shot into Kidiaba and the red-shirted fans of Internacional were now seen praying for some divine intervention.

Sobis completed his hat-trick of misses in the 65th minute and he was soon pulled out by Celso Roth and to add to the Brazilian's woes Mazembe kept defending with all their might.

Then came the killer punch with about five minutes left when Kaluyituka's firm drive all along the carpet caught Renan napping and the biggest shock since the Fifa Club World Cup came int5o existence was completed.
