While Floyd Mayweather was busy posting Instagram pictures of himself in front of his private jet and incredible fleet of super cars, Manny Pacquiao just said ‘I want to fight’.

American boxer Mayweather, known as ‘Money’ is renowned for showing off the trappings of his millions on the social network site.

But his latest offering (above) took it to a whole new level, featuring two Bugatti Veyron, a Bugatti Gran Sport, two Ferrari 458 Spiders, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a Ferraro 599 GTB Fiorano.

Oh, and his private jet was parked in behind.

Mayweather gave the post a typically brash caption: “Welcome to my toy world! Who wants to come out & play?”

Philippines boxing legend Pacquiao, who has been chasing a mega-money deal to fight Mayweather for years, went for a simple response.

He posted this picture of himself keeping warm in front of a log fire.

Pacquiao wrote: Floyd brags about his lifestyle and everything! I don’t care! I’m just waiting here for him to sign the contract!”

Rumours are rife that a deal to get the pair in the ring for the fight everyone wants to see is near.

But for the time being, it seems all fans are going to get is social media posturing.

The Mayweather post:

The Pacquiao reply:
