Kamal Haasan, an actor and politician from Tamil Nadu. After his debut in the 2019 national elections in Tamil Nadu, actor-politician Kamal Haasan and his party Makkal Needhi Maiam - which means "People's Justice Centre" - hoped to gain traction this time around. The 66-year-old actor is running for the Coimbatore (South) constituency in Tamil Nadu. ANI reported that Kamal Haasan iwas leading in early trends.

Khushbu Sundar, an actor-turned-politician, is running for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chennai's Thousand Lights assembly constituency. Khushbu Sundar is best known for her work in the South Indian film industry. She left the Congress in 2020 and joined the BJP. As per early reports, she is trailing behind and DMK's Ezhilan is leading from the constituency.

Suresh Gopi, a National Award-winning actor, was fielded by the BJP-NDA in Kerala's Thrissur district, the same seat from which he ran unsuccessfully in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He is well-known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Suresh Gopi lost early lead to ruling party LDF and UDF candidates in Thrissur, Kerala.
