The UAE has always been open to people from all corners of the world and is a melting pot of cultures. The ethos was embodied in the founding father Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (L) and his legacy is being carried forward by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces (R). At a time when the world is being torn apart by divisive forces, Sheikh Mohamed has encouraged and cultivated the spirit of inclusivity: every culture, every religion, every positive thought is precious. In a world fraught with divide, the UAE walks the path of tolerance where its society is compassionate and inclusive.

Mohiuddin worked for around 40 years at the Crown Price’s Court. Sheikh Mohamed wished him success and safe return to his family in the southern Indian state of Kerala.

January 26, 2018: Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, inaugurated the first-ever Special Olympics 'Walk Unified' event. Hundreds of people from different backgrounds participated in 'Walk Unified', an organized walk launched by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 to integrate people with intellectual disabilities in community events.

February 22, 2018: Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited an Afghani carpet seller, who had, in 2017, refused to sell a picture of the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. "This black and white picture has been in the shop since its opening in 1994 when late Sheikh Zayed ordered the establishment of the market," Musa Khan said adding that it was unacceptable for the owners, partners and employees of the shop to sell the picture as their love for Sheikh Zayed is priceless.

March 12, 2018: Nine extraordinary individuals were honoured for their contribution in building and supporting the community in Abu Dhabi. In a ceremony held at Al Bahr Palace, Sheikh Mohamed honoured the award recipients and personally congratulated them for inspiring selfless generosity and kindness, presenting them with the Abu Dhabi Awards trophy and medal. April 8, 2019: Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received at Qasr Al Bahr Majlis the first certified Emirati women firefighters, who have graduated from a Women Firefighting Course in Sharjah. "The UAE woman is always proving her worth in performing all the national tasks assigned to her, excelling herself in fulfilling her responsibilities and meeting her obligations," Sheikh Mohamed told the Emirati firefighters after congratulating them on their graduation from the course.

June 29, 2018: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Suhail Mubarak Al Dhaheri, who is receiving medical treatment at the New Medical Centre Hospital in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Mohamed was reassured on Al Dhaheri's health condition. He exchanged cordial talks with him and his family members while wishing him good health and speedy recovery. Al Dhaheri and his family members extended thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for his visit which reflects the leadership's care for the citizens.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the construction of the Abrahamic Family House on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. May 31, 2019: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan with Omar Mohammad Al Hajjaj at Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi. The grade two student of Al Mawakeb School in Al Khawaneej, who has been growing his hair since he was three-years old, plans to donate his flowing locks to cancer care organisations to make wigs for cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.
