OVERTAKE IMMINENT?: Gautam Adani, 58, heads a massive business conglomerate in India and recently jumped to the 14th spot on Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index. His net worth overtook China's Zhong “Lone Wolf” Shanshan on May 20, 2021. Image Credit:

STILL ASIA'S RICHEST MAN: Now, the richest Asian, India’s Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani, 64, with an estimated net worth of $76.5 billion, is richer than Adani by $8.7 billion. The stock price of companies under their command would determine in no small part whether this gap would widen — or narrow. Image Credit: Reuters
