PARASITE (Korean, with English subtitles): With multiple awards already in its kitty and Oscar nominations including Best Picture and Best Director for Bong Joon Ho, this one's one of the most anticipated films this week. Ki-taek's family of four is close, but fully unemployed, with a bleak future ahead of them. The son Ki-woo is recommended by his friend, a student at a prestigious university, for a well-paid tutoring job, spawning hopes of a regular income. Ki-woo heads to the Park family home for an interview and meets Yeon-kyo, the beautiful young lady of the house. But following this first meeting between the two families, an unstoppable string of mishaps lies in wait.

PATTAS (Tamil): This action film stars Dhanush, Sneha Babu and Mehreen Pirzada and is about Sakthi, a petty thief in a Chennai slum who learns the Adimurai - the ancient and oldest form of martial arts, to fulfill his father Velappan’s destiny. Meanwhile, an evil man and his son challenge Sakthi for a kickboxing tournament, and Sakthi agrees to participate in it.

DOLITTLE (English): Another take on the Doctor Dolittle series of books, Robert Downey Jr plays the doctor who, after losing his wife seven years earlier, hermits himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his (talking) exotic animals for company. But when the young queen falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure. Emma Thompson and Tom Holland also star.

BAD BOYS FOR LIFE (English): Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return in this sequel. Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) is now a police inspector and Mike Lowery (Smith) is in a midlife crisis.
