2003 - Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief-of-Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived in the Indian capital of New Delhi on his first official visit to the country. Shaikh Mohammad’s three-day visit, at the head of a high-ranking delegation that includes Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Information and Culture, and Shaikh Hamid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of the Economic Department, is expected to boost bilateral ties. Shaikh Mohammad held talks with Indian Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister L.K. Advani and reviewed with him the distinguished ties between the UAE and India in various fields.
