Shame UAE drivers into behaving

The high accident and death rates on the roads of the UAE are well known — we have one of the highest accident rates in the world. Road safety for all motorists and road users is paramount.

In recent years, police and officials at all levels of government have worked together to gradually bring down death rates. A combination of increased penalties, public education, better roads, stricter enforcement and the use of black demerit points have all combined to make UAE roads safer.

But there is still the shameful few who believe that they have the right to drive as they see fit, throwing caution and the law to the wind, acting in a reckless manner behind the wheel, endangering all road users.

This simply cannot be tolerated.

Now, traffic violators caught on camera will have their crimes broadcast, together with the fines and black points they received for their offences.
