Dubai: The Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates Intellectual Property Association to promote cooperation and create a strategic partnership.

Under the MoU, both entities will implement a joint working framework, coordinate with relevant authorities, and benefit from their joint expertise, as well as exchanging studies, to enhance their organisational work and achieve their joint strategic goals.

The MoU was signed by Jamila Mohammad Al Fandi, director-general of the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme, and Major General Dr Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Aassistant general commander for excellence and entrepreneurship at the association.

Al Fandi said that the MoU is part of the programme’s efforts to achieve the directives of the wise leadership to promote the concept of intellectual property, present innovative government services and achieve their strategic goals while stressing that the MoU will help to promote and develop joint cooperation and exchange knowledge and information on intellectual property, as well as introduce relevant legal programmes and awareness programmes.
