The excitement was palpable even before the respective artists touched down in Dubai, with jubilant selfies with Hyoyeon and YoonA from Girls’ Generation posting a video on social media, while Amber and Luna from f(x) went the traditional route, posing for a picture.

This is the first time Dubai has been added to the massive K-Pop world tour series. Although the city has borne witness to K-Pop mania when Exo headed to Dubai earlier this year and went on to become the first K-pop artists to have a song featured on The Dubai Fountain show’s star-studded playlist.
Friday’s Dubai gig will include four hours of performances by the artists, as well as musical collaborations and an exclusive EDM section. Tickets for the concert are on sale, starting at Dh375.
