In an ode to the Middle East, and as part of the upcoming Dubai Watch Week, Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has announced the limited edition TAG Heuer Carrera Middle East timepiece for the region. The inspiration behind the watch is the varying tones of Middle Eastern green. Featuring an striking emerald green dial, only 150 pieces of Carrera Middle East will be available. It will be launched in stores in December and available for pre-order from this month.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Middle East Limited Edition is a confluence of elegance and performance -- the lines of the case and the green oscillating mass, visible through the sapphire case back; it’s a work of art, and yet a showcase of leading edge technology.
The 42 mm TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph features unique Arabic numerals and a date window at 6 o’clock. Also featured is a green opaline permanent second indicator at 6 o’clock and two chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock.
TAG Heuer Carrera Middle East Limited Edition features the Calibre Heuer 02 Automatic movement, which is visible through the sapphire caseback, this chronograph has a power reserve of 80 hours.
The entire TAG Heuer Carrera range has always been a byword for advanced watchmaking technology. Sure enough, the TAG Heuer Carrera Middle East Limited Edition is powered by the Calibre Heuer 02 manufacture movement. The movement was developed in-house by TAG Heuer’s Chevenez manufacture workshop. Overall, it has 168 components.
