Rejoice, lovers of street footwear and urban culture, Sole DXB, the Middle East’s most popular festival is finally back! Well, not immediately, you will have to wait until December to bask in the celebrations, but it’s back nonetheless.
The 2022 edition of Sole DXB will run for three nights from December 9 to 11, 2022 and will include everything from music to art to lifestyle and indeed the aforementioned footwear. The event was MIA for two years due to the pandemic, but better late than never.
As you would expect, there are several live music performances, movie screenings, sports tournaments as part of the event. In essence, it is one of the most exciting experiences the emirate has to offer when it comes to urban culture. Given the anticipation over the past couple of years, there is every chance that the 2022 Sole DXB will be immensely popular.
This is hardly a surprise since nearly 40,000 people attended the last event in 2019, with a ton of performances, workshops and sessions that encompassed as many as 80 brands.
Speaking of performers, the list has been impressive thus far. From Sho Madjozi to Wu-Tang Clan to Scottie Pippen among others, there was something for everyone in attendance.
While information on the actual list of activities is scant at the moment, there is no reason to expect nothing but a stunning event come December. Colour us excited!
