1. KIM KARDASHIAN: The media personality surprised everyone with her Met Gala dress by Balenciaga. The dress, which was partly influenced by her estranged husband Kanye West, covered every inch of her body, including the face! The thinking was that one can still be confident even when people can’t see one’s face. We guess it worked.

2) Zendaya: The actor has rapidly become a house-hold name, especially after the immense success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Seen here, Zendaya dons an elegant tan coloured, wet-look leather gown at the Dune premiere. One of the memorable ones for 2021, we reckon.

3. LADY GAGA: Looking resplendent as ever, Lady Gaga’s over-the-top purple dress at a House of Gucci event dropped jaws. Definitely one of the striking fashion moments of 2021.

4. RIHANNA: The singer was spotted carrying the sold-out Gucci, The Hacker Project Hourglass bag with Balenciaga, complete with the GG monogram. Her look melded signature silhouettes and codes that are ever present in a wide range of styles “within this hybrid universe”. A decidedly winning look for 2021.

5. LILNASX: Met Gala was expectedly full of fashion surprises. Grammy winner Lilnasx wore a dramatic gown that revealed a gold body suit that dripped glamour one has come to associate with the event.

6. HARRY STYLES: The singer arrived in style at the 63rd Grammys in a custom Gucci check tweed jacket with a knitted tartan sweater vest, velvet flared pants, fake fur boa and leather boots. Harry won the Best Pop Solo Performance and was a nominee for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Music Video.

7. SARAH JESSICA PARKER: The Sex in the City star looked amazing in a Valentino outfit. However, what perplexed many was the turtle on her hand bag. Either way, it was one of the showstopping looks of 2021.

8. BELLA HADID: Model Bella Hadid turned up at the Tre Piani premiere wearing Dior makeup and exquisite Chopard jewellery. However, it was her Daniel Roseberry outfit that grabbed the most attention. Striking, isn’t it?

9. NAOMI CAMPBELL: The supermodel presented one of the rare collaborations between two storied fashion houses in this Fendi by Versace dress. The FF logo is clear and present while the dress was designed by Donatella Versace.

10. RIHANNA: Making her second entry on the list is the singer that has never failed to surprise with her edgy fashion choices. Seen here with rapper ASAP Rocky at the Met Gala in a remarkable black gown, that is reminiscent of queens of yore. She looked every bit the superstar that she is.
