This dish by Sikka Cafe is relatively easy to make. Falafel and hummus are just as amazing for your next gathering this Ramadan. It's good for friends and family who are vegan or on special diets.

Preparation


Ingredients
1 kg Chickpeas
30 grams salt
10 grams bicarbonate soda
50 grams coriander leaves
50 grams parsley leaves
30 grams onion
20 grams garlic
Oil for frying

Method

1. Soak chickpeas for 24 hours.

2. Grind together chickpeas, coriander, parsley, onion and garlic into a coarse paste

3. Add salt and bicarbonate soda to the mixture and make small balls. You can slightly flatten the balls.

4. Deep fry the balls at 160 degree Celsius for 3 minutes.
