Jamaican reggae artist Beenie Man will headline Carbifest, a celebration of Caribbean and Latino music, food and drink on March 31 at Yas Beach, Abu Dhabi.

The Grammy-winning dancehall musician, who has been active since the early 1980s, recently released the album Unstoppable, featuring collaborations with Akon, Jeremy Harding, Tristan Palmer and Bounty Killer. It was his first studio album in a decade.

“Get ready to party, UAE! I can’t wait to perform in Abu Dhabi and share with you all my love for dancehall music. Just like the title of my album, Unstoppable, I will keep making music to celebrate my heritage,” said Beenie Man in a press release.

Tickets for the event, which is 21+ only, are Dh110 through Virgin Megastores or platinumlist.net, or Dh130 at the gate. For more, contact 055-2323956.
