There is a huge variety of exotic and colourful appetisers, like a salad bar with an endless selection of dressings, and in addition to the typical iftar soup of lentil, there was a delicious mushroom cream.
If you are into flavourful rice dishes, Flavours is an excellent choice, presenting a succulent ouzi (whole lamb with rice and minced meat), Saudi kabsa (rice and meat), Lebanese sayadiya (rice with fish) and Indian chicken biryani.
If, like me, you prefer protein over carbs, then skipping the rice reduced the menu to a less ample selection: stir-fried chicken, mixed vegetables in oyster sauce, salmon, Italian mixed grill and chicken curry.
Desserts include mixed fruits and Arabian sweets.
