With roots in Florence and a firm foothold in the Gulf, M+N Architecture has quietly built a legacy of innovation and design excellence across the Middle East. Operating in the UAE since 2010 through its Abu Dhabi office, this Italian firm has become a trusted name in both architecture and interior design, known for merging European craftsmanship with regional sensibilities.

Specialising in a wide range of services — from architectural design and master planning to interior design, project management, and supervision — M+N approaches each project with a commitment to sustainability, innovation and creativity. Now celebrating 15 years of continuous operation in the Middle East, the firm has delivered more than 200 high-profile projects across the educational, hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors.

In the architectural realm, M+N’s portfolio includes prominent projects such as the Al Raha Lofts 1 residential building; the recently completed Ministry of Interior office building; and the ongoing redevelopment of the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, which features the addition of 10 beachfront villas with private pools and jetties. Another notable project is the masterplan in MBZ City, comprising five G+4/G+5 buildings, 90 townhouses, 14 standalone villas, and associated infrastructure — all located in Abu Dhabi.

The firm’s interior design practice is equally distinguished, having shaped key public and private spaces, including the interiors for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in Dubai and for the new office building for the Ministry of Interior in Abu Dhabi and corporate offices for prominent local and international clients such as Khidmah, Provis, Ethara, Tamkeen, IMI, Mace and Petronas.

One of the firm’s most recent milestones is the completion of the new headquarters for IMI Media, home to brands including Sky News Arabia, The National, Al Ain News, and CNN Business Arabic. Spanning more than 10,000 square metres, the facility includes offices, live broadcasting studios, audio and video editing suites, newsrooms, and a fully equipped cafeteria and breakout area designed to accommodate over 500 employees.

These projects exemplify M+N Architecture’s ability to successfully manage and deliver diverse projects — varying in type, complexity, and scale — while staying true to its distinctive blend of functionality, innovation, and unmistakable Italian design flair.
