Singer Granada is back in the limelight with a new film
Former teen superstar Isabel Granada is in Oman filming Pirates Blood, a Bollywood flick with Salim Bahwan playing opposite Omani actress Mamoona Al Balushi. Isabel has been very active in her career of late after a long break when she got married and chose to lead a private life with her family.
Couldn't resist
It turns out Isabel couldn't resist the lure of showbusiness and returned to act in the hit series Zaido, in which she played an important role. Known more as a singer than an actress, Isabel hopes she can revive her singing career as well.
Dangerous tattoos: Robin Padilla changes make-up used on his TV show
Robin Padilla is back on TV with the hit series Joaquin Bordado, the story of a sales agent turned police asset-assassin whose life and death changes when he becomes the chosen heir of powerful tattoos.
The series has given Marimar a good fight for supremacy on primetime TV and is especially a hit among children.

Our mole recently visited Robin Padilla on the set of his new series and found out that the make-up used to draw his tattoos had some elements that were believed to be cancerous.
Smoothly
How Robin found out about that, he did not reveal, but now a new brand of make-up has been found and everything is OK. Shooting has been progressing smoothly.
Proudly Filipina: Charlene Gonzales is excited about her new show
Former Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Charlene Gonzales is now the host of Proudly Filipina on QTV 11. Gonzales is excited about her new show, which profiles the lives of successful Filipinas around the world.
Gonzales says a lot of Filipinas would benefit from the inspiration and insights that they will learn from fellow Filipinas who have made a name for themselves in business, politics, entertainment, the arts and other endeavours.
Good chance
Incidentally, there is a good chance that Gonzales's programme will be broadcast in the Middle East as well, following the launch of another international TV channel for Filipinos called Pinoy Life, which had a test broadcast in Japan recently.
