Actress Kristen Stewart will make her first official appearance since her cheating scandal at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada next month.
The 22-year-old has been keeping a low profile since confessing to cheating on her Twilight co-star and boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders last month.
However, she will have to face the camera once again in September as she begins promoting her latest film, On the Road.
Stewart, who portrays Marylou in the big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s classic novel, has been confirmed to attend the annual Toronto event alongside Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams and Garrett Hedlund, reports people.com.
On the Road will premiere at the 10-day festival, which begins on September 6.
The actress recently pulled out of the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony, which she was due to host with Pattinson, also on September 6.
“Bosses were hoping that Kristen and Robert would be surprise guests before this scandal blew up. The idea was for them to jointly present awards... but that has been changed,” mirror.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
This would have been their first appearance in public since they parted ways after Stewart’s fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders surfaced.
