Aditya Awtani of Fine and Country says Indians have always been actively involved with Dubai, even before the real estate market opened up.

“The Indian diaspora has always felt at home in Dubai, and therefore were among the pioneers to invest in the Dubai property market. Compared to major Indian cities, such as Mumbai or Delhi, Dubai offers a far better package.

“Today, the value proposition offered by several developments within Dubai, in terms of lifestyle, price points and quality, is unrivalled. Furthermore, with Dubai being less than three hours away from major Indian cities, it is easy to understand why Indians are convinced that investing in Dubai real estate today appears to be a sound decision.”

UK real estate buyers and investors ranked second in the list with 21 per cent of the investment, while Pakistani  and Iranian investors are at  third and fourth positions  having bought 12 per cent and 13 per cent respectively.
