Pamela Anderson, who became an animal rights activist, says she will spend time with turkeys on Thanksgiving day rather than making traditional turkey dinner.

The 45-year-old, member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), said she will visit Gentle Barn sanctuary in California on Thanksgiving day next month.

“I go to the Gentle Barn and hang out with turkeys... I will tickle them under the wings and I sit them on my lap, and I feed them pumpkin pie,” nypost.com quoted her as saying.
