Amitabh Bachchan fasts for Satyagraha

In his fight against corruption, megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s character in the upcoming political saga Satyagraha, decides to fast a la real life social activist Anna Hazare.

A poster features Bachchan, with Arjun Rampal and Ajay Devgn on either side, and it reads: Aamran Anshan (indefinite hunger strike).

“This is one very crucial moment of Satyagraha where Amitabh Bachchan takes this tough stand against corruption and decides to fast unto death in his fight against corruption,” director Prakash Jha said.

The film is slated to release in August this year. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee.
