To mark the upcoming Emirati Women’s Day, Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel Dubai, in collaboration with BeingShe, a UAE-based women’s organization founded by Aparna Bajpai, is organising a private event at the hotel on August 26, 2023.
The event will bring together senior government officials, entrepreneurs, and UAE’s top respected businesswomen to discuss the role of women in pushing the nation’s sustainability agenda forward.
Emirati Women’s Day 2023, which will run under the theme ‘We Collaborate for Tomorrow,’ will be celebrated nationwide on August 28.
Highlights of the event at the hotel will include a panel discussion themed ‘Women as Drivers of Change and Innovation’ with panelists Dr. Eng. Suad Al Shamsi, UAE’s first female aircraft engineer; Dr. Hoda A. Alkhzaimi, Co-Chair for the Global Future Council for Cyber Security; Sheikha Al Nuaimi, former Commercial Executive Director of Ajman Free Zone; Alanoud Alhashmi, Founder and CEO of The Futurist Company; and Eng. Zahra Al Darwish, Founder and CEO at Sit Jump Play Event.
The discussion will be anchored on how women can play their part in leading communities and businesses towards a more sustainable future.
