Rendezvous Luxe, a luxury trunk show that curates the world's finest jewellery and haute couture hosted at destinations such as Hong Kong and London, will showcase at the Taj JLT on September 27 and 28, from 10am-8pm.
Founded by Pooja Javeri Shah and Urvi Shah, Rendezvous Luxe represents an intersection where exquisite diamond jewelry and high fashion converge to redefine opulence and style. This year, four exquisite brands- Farah Khan Atelier, JADE, Nandita Mahtani, and Tryyst- will be presenting their collection. Each of these brands brings with it a legacy of unmatched design and craftsmanship.
Farah Khan traces her origins to Iran, with roots in Muslim and Parsi aristocracy that settled in India more than 300 years ago. And when she creates, she likes to dig into her own Indian heritage, reinvent it and reimagine it for the future. Her designs are a culmination of her varied and colorful life experiences and fabulous flights of creative imagination, making each piece of jewellery intensely personal and entirely unique.
JADE from the House of Chanakya Schoo is a confluence of love for the artisanal heritage of India and a passion to re-imagine it as a modern fable of couture. JADE garments are handcrafted stories; some of those stories are of Indian arts and crafts, while some are about you, the JADE woman, who honors tradition and aligns it effortlessly with her unique sensibilities, sharpened by a thirst for life and adventure.
Nandita Mahtani is a renowned resort wear designer in India, known for her relaxed luxury aesthetic that covers fashion and lifestyle. Her signature style involves blending Indian embroideries with western silhouettes, showcased at prestigious fashion events like Lakme Fashion Week and Wills India Fashion Week. She has also gained international recognition through events like Australia Fashion Week and Colombo Couture Fest, and collaborations with brands like Mercedes Benz and Cartoon Network. Currently, she's collaborating with Formula 1 and Gulf Oil for her label AN- Y1. Nandita is not only a celebrated designer but also a sought-after celebrity stylist, serving both sports and Bollywood clients. Her influence extends to interior design through a collaboration with Ren Home.
