The event will offer a chance to attendees to browse through thousands of second-hand books with a few books for as little as Dh2, partake in 'bookish' games, discover stories hidden in pages, meet up with fellow book lovers, and more. And yes, coffee is on the house, for anyone who walks in to taste the stories.

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is offering exciting science, magic and fun attractions and activities this summer that will enthral kids and keep the adults entertained. Kids from the age of three years and above can bring out their inner scientist with experiential learning workshops. The workshops will bring science to life with live experiments, such as the Lemon Volcano, which demonstrates how atoms work to create gas, resulting in mini ‘volcanos’; the Elephant Toothpaste, which is a fun and safe way to see how exothermic reactions are created; and Dancing Lava, which will teach kids about how buoyancy works. Workshops run daily from 3pm to 8pm until 27 August 2023, located in Zone D of Gate Avenue, in the heart of DIFC. For even more fun, DIFC presents live kids and family shows from Thursday to Sunday, which include live Malambo and salsa dances, a crazy live science show, a crystal ball magician and a hilarious tennis comedy duo.
