Dubai: The Expo 2020 experience just got better. Visitors at the Expo will be able to explore the mega event through a curated itinerary, themed around their passions and interests.

These curated itineraries will be available on the Expo 2020 Mobile App, which is set for launch in September. 

A hub for food-lovers, tech-junkies, families, business moguls, and more, Expo 2020 will cater to over 25 million visitors throughout the six-month global event.

What are the tours available?

The curated itineraries will feature a number of tours, which can be modified to suit a visitor’s personal interest. Here’s all you need to know about these tours:

Expo Essentials

Visitors opting for this tour will be able to witness collection of innovations – such as the world’s largest radio satellite capable of detecting signals from extra-terrestrial life, a 4D ‘bioprinter’ which reproduces live cells, as well as world fusion music, choirs and orchestral performances, and cuisines from countries, fresh to visitors at the Expo.

Expo for Families tour

Visitors will be able to delve into an exciting, interactive journey packed with fun, educational experiences for all ages. Some of the attractions include – a Beethoven-inspired robo-band, an encounter with a giant sharp-toothed fish.

Expo for Couples

Guests will be able to discover the site’s most romantic offerings, including the magical Al Wasl Plaza, which will feature spectacular night-time light shows on its 360-degree projection surface.

Expo Architecture and Design Journey

Visitors will be able to witness a few architectural marvels at the Expo venue – from the falcon-shaped UAE Pavilion, to self-sustaining buildings and pavilions that combine nature and architecture.

Expo for Foodies tour

Guests will be able to discover unique culinary tastes, meet star chefs, experience the future of food, or sample a new cuisine while taking in a show.

Expo Health and Wellness Journey

Visitors can rejuvenate themselves by riding a bike, attending a yoga class in Jubilee Park, nourishing themselves with the newest superfoods, and discover life-changing healthcare novelties.

Business and Entrepreneurship Journey

Guests at the Expo will be able to explore the change-makers from around the world who aim to create a lasting impact on the world.

Keeping up with COVID-19

Visitor safety has always been a priority for Expo 2020. To maintain the well-being of all its visitors, participants and staff, Expo 2020 has been working in close collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and Dubai Health Authority, and has also been in touch with the latest information and advice from the World Health Organization (WHO).

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, here’s what Expo 2020 is doing to keep you safe:

  • Installation of thermal cameras and sanitization stations across the 4,300 hectare site,
  • Mandatory wear of face-mask,
  • Implementation of social-distancing regulations.

In addition to this, Expo 2020 will also be offering free COVID-19 vaccinations to all official participants and their staff.
