‘Brahmastra’ (UAE cinemas): Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s long-awaited fantasy adventure flick is here. The movie is rooted in Indian mythology and follows Shiva (played by Kapoor) who discovers his secret power and his connection to an ancient weapon. Bhatt plays his love interest Isha, who fights evil forces alongside Shiva. It’s said to be one of the most expensive Bollywood movie’s made.

‘Ottu’ (UAE cinemas): South Indian stars Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swamy take audiences on a wild ride in this psychological crime thriller. Boban plays Kichu, who is offered the job of befriending David (Swamy), a man who has lost his memory.

‘The Dark Knight’ (Re-release) (UAE cinemas): Fourteen years after its release, Christopher Nolan’s dark superhero movie is back in cinemas. The film follows Batman (Christian Bale) as he faces his demons and a new formidable enemy, Joker (Heath Ledger), who is creating chaos in Gotham City. It was one of late star Ledger’s final movies.

‘BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – LA’ (Disney+): Get immersed in the world of the South Korean group who rocked the stage at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in late 2021. This concert film features performances of the Grammy-nominated septet, and behind-the-scenes footage.

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ (Disney+): If you missed out on this movie in cinemas, now’s your chance to watch it in the comfort of your home. In this film, we finally get to know what happened between Thor, the deity of Thunder, and his human love, Jane Foster. When Thor races to defend the Asgardians on Earth while chasing Gorr the God Butcher, he meets Foster, who is now wielding his old weapon, Mjolnir, and it’s given her special powers.
