Travis Scott, born Jacques Berman Webster II, is a Grammy-nominated American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer known for his genre-blending style that fuses hip-hop, trap, and psychedelic sounds. He rose to prominence with his 2015 album Rodeo, and cemented his status with chart-topping hits like Goosebumps, Stargazing, and Sicko Mode from his critically acclaimed 2018 album Astroworld.
His elaborate live shows, often described as part-concert, part-cinematic experience, have helped build a global fan base. He’s also known for his high-profile collaborations with artists like Drake, The Weeknd, and Beyoncé, and for major brand partnerships.
In the past, Scott has famously spoken about the duality of fame in several interviews. In a conversation with GQ, he admitted that while fame provides a platform, it can also feel isolating. “People think I’m like some robot or something,” he said, reflecting on how public perception can blur personal identity. He’s also noted that his primary focus remains the music and creative output, not the celebrity culture that surrounds it.
