Fans of Filipino actress Marian Rivera will have a chance to see the celebrated actress before she says I do to become Mrs Dantes.
Rivera will in Dubai next month for a free concert ahead of her much-awaited wedding on December 30.
She will be joined by her fiance, Dingdong Dantes, and Julie Anne San Jose, in a show dubbed “Kapusong Pinoy sa Dubai” on November 7 at the Global Village’s Philippine Pavilion.
GMA Pinoy TV, the international channel of the Philippines’ GMA Network, said the show will serve as part of the Kapusong Pinoy concert series. Known as the Kapuso prime-time King and Queen, Dantes and Rivera got engaged on Rivera’s birthday in August, in an event dubbed as the “royal engagement of the year” in Philippine showbiz.
Dubai-based fashion designer Michael Cinco will design Rivera’s wedding gown.
Dantes and Rivera will be joined by “Asia’s Pop Sweetheart” San Jose, one of GMA Pinoy TV’s top artists, in the series of international shows.
Pre-show starts at 4.30pm at the Philippine Pavillon, while Kapusong Pinoy sa Dubai starts at 6pm on the main stage of the Global Village. The concert is free, although concertgoers must pay the Global Village entrance fee.
