Joey de Leon backs up former rival Willie Revillame

TV host and comedian Joey de Leon revealed last week that he is helping former rival Willie Revillame get into GMA 7, bringing his now defunct game show to the network after it was cancelled from TV5 last year.

Before that, Willie Revillame hosted a noontime show on ABS CBN that was pitted against De Leon’s Eat Bulaga.

Although there are still no assurances that Revillame will be back on TV via the Kapuso network, many are hoping that he will be given a chance to return to TV with a new show.

Revillame is particularly popular among Filipino migrant workers overseas and will be a boost for GMA’s international operations.
