Dingdong Dantes confident about new film
The actor and producer’s latest project is up against high-profile films by Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino
Dingdong Dantes is happy that his film Kubot: The Aswang Chronicle Part 2 has been officially selected to be a part of the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival in December.
In addition to being the lead actor of the movie, Dantes is also a co-producer of the sequel.
Dantes’s production will be up against the movies of Vic Sotto, Vice Ganda and Kris Aquino, but the actor is confident his film will measure up to the others in terms of box-office and quality.
The first Aswang movie was a big hit, and was highly praised for its story and technical effects.
This time, Dantes promises an even more riveting film and world-class effects, with post-production being done overseas to ensure it is of high quality.
