Pop star Janet Jackson called police on Saturday night to perform a welfare check on her one-year-old son, who was with her estranged husband.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu after receiving a call at 9.55pm.

“Deputies responded and there was no evidence of any crime, no report was taken and the baby was well,” said Deputy Wally Bracks of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
Jackson’s brother Randy Jackson told Entertainment Tonight that his sister had been contacted by a nanny helping her ex, Wissam Al Mana, take care of their son that evening.
The nanny was “terrified by his behaviour and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet,” he told ET.
TMZ reported law enforcement sources said Jackson expressed concern that her ex was using drugs around the child at Nobu Hotel.

A spokesperson for the Malibu Lost Hill’s Sheriff’s Station later told People magazine that police arrived and found no one in danger and suggested that the parties handle the matter personally.
“Deputies were there [and] called to the scene. They decided the child was okay and they left,” the spokesperson said.
Jackson, 52, was not at the hotel at the time, authorities confirmed.
According to the website, The Blast, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office said there “was zero suspicion of drugs being used”.
