Akshay Kumar: This Bollywood action hero proved that he’s made of stern stuff and was game for all things brave and bizarre. From drinking ‘elephant poo tea’ to zipping past a crocodile-infested river, the ‘Khiladi’ star put on a brave front and explored his adventurous side with aplomb. This episode, telecast on Discovery, was filmed extensively at the Bandipur National Park.

Rajinikanth: Age is just a number or so proved the 69-year-old icon who made his television debut with a gritty reality show like ‘Into The Wild’. From crossing a rusty bridge with a 50-feet drop with just a rope for support to trekking down a ravine to gather water from a stream, Rajinikanth proved that he’s made of strong stuff. But more than their collective adventure, it was their camaraderie that was one of the highlights of this episode. The notoriously media-shy icon opened up to Grylls about his fame, success, and failure. “My whole life is a miracle to me,” declared Rajinikanth. It was also heartening to see his peers and his colleagues Kamal Haasan, Akshay Kumar, and R Madhavan make cameo appearances to wish their ‘friend’ as he embarked on his forest adventure.

Ajay Devgn: We will soon find out if this Bollywood actor popular for his spectacular stunt sequences is made of sterner stuff or not. In the upcoming episode on Disney+, the 52-year-old Devgn will be seen courting danger and living on the edge with Bear Grylls. The actor is already in the Maldives to film this much-anticipated episode and something tells us that his brush with the idyllic beach destination isn’t just about swimming casually in the ocean.

Narendra Modi: It’s not just a growing army of Bollywood stars who have been lured into taking risks in the wild with survival expert Grylls. In 2019, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi famously appeared with Grylls and was spotted sailing across a freezing river on a makeshift raft and drinking herbal tea.

Deepika Padukone: There were strong rumours floating around that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone might feature as a celebrity guest with survival expert and host Bear Grylls. But nothing concrete has emerged on that front. Padukone is one of Bollywood's most athletic and fit stars. Her posts about killing it with squats and pull-ups in the gym gives us an indication that it would be an enjoyable episode if Gryll manages to convince her to participate in his show.

Virat Kohli: This is another name that popped up constantly. Ace cricketer and Bollywood star Anushka Sharma's husband was reportedly invited to be a part of the hit survival show. But he seems to have declined the offer. But as history teaches us, never say never.
