New museum celebrates UAE founding fathers

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced that the Union Museum, which tells the story of the UAE’s founding fathers and the country’s journey, will open on National Day.

“Over the past two years, we have built a museum celebrating the United Arab Emirates’ Union: a historic achievement,” Shaikh Mohammad tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

"The Union Museum tells the story of our founding fathers and our journey in UAE. It will open on National Day."

"Anyone with a document, image or  memory of the story of our Union can share it with the UAE etihadmuseum.ae."
