Louvre Abu Dhabi will exhibit art that showcases humanity’s story from around the world
Dubai: It will take just 12 galleries, for the Louvre Abu Dhabi to tell mankind’s story.
Each gallery is expected to share themes and ideas that show common connections among societies across the world. From prehistoric artefacts to contemporary artwork, the masterpieces on display will explore themes like ‘The First Villages’, ‘Universal Religions’ and ‘Cosmography’.
According to Louvre Abu Dhabi’s website, most of the art is from the museum’s collection itself, with many masterpieces on loan from some of the most world-renowned French museums.
