Dubai: HP launched its latest 13.3-inch thin and light Envy laptops with seventh-generation i7 processors with speeds from 2GHz to 2.7GHz.

At less than 14mm thick and 1.38kg, it’s also fairly thin and light to carry. It sports two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.1 ports, one microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack but there’s no HDMI and no full-size SD card slot.

There is, however, a pair of Bang & Olufsen-branded speakers, placed to the left and right of the keyboard.

“As customer demands and expectations for our products keep changing, we continue to reinvent ourselves through new products that bring focus, agility and innovations for our partners and customers,” Mathew Thomas, managing director, Middle East and Saudi Arabia at HP Inc, said.

The HP fast-charge technology can charge the device from zero to 90 per cent in about 90 minutes.

The devices house two microphones and advanced noise reduction software to keep the sound crystal-clear when video chatting or recording.

The device has an ultra-bright Full HD IPS display with edge-to-edge design.It houses 8GB of RAM and 1TB of solid state drive and coupled with a 2GB dedicated Nvidia GeForce graphics card. It is priced at Dh5,999.

The other model that has 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD is priced at Dh3,599 while the one with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD is priced at Dh4,399. All the models come in either silk gold or silver.
