Al Masaood Automobiles has brought the all-new 2020 Nissan Sunny to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region - and thanks to its impressive features, intelligent mobility technology and stylish design it looks poised to maintain its position as one of the best-loved sedans in the Middle East.
The 11th generation Sunny has undergone wholesale changes and offers striking aesthetics not to mention safety features to give it an edge from its rivals in the B-Sedan segment. Three trim levels are available S (MT or Xtronic), SV (Xtronic), and the sporty SL (Xtronic).
Irfan Tansel, CEO, Al Masaood Automobiles, said, "We are proud to bring to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region the latest edition of one of Nissan’s top-selling models – the Nissan Sunny 2020. This much-loved vehicle has a sleek new design and safety features that will surely capture every sedan lovers’ sight on the road and will continue to place Nissan Sunny as a classy car choice in the B-Sedan segment, while keeping with affordability. With this new car offering, Al Masaood will continue to bring to life its commitment to quality and excellence.”
Based on Nissan’s V-platform, the new sedan takes a leap forward in terms of style from its predecessor. Drawing inspiration from the larger Altima, it features the Nissan V-motion grille which is flanked by upswept, boomerang-shaped LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs. The profile looks rather sporty thanks to a coupe-like sloping roofline, blacked-out B-pillar and a C-pillar featuring a prominent kink. Longer, wider and lower than its predecessor, its wheelbase has also increased compared to the tenth-gen model. It rides on 17in alloy wheels while at the rear, it gets boomerang-shaped taillights and a new dual-tone bumper.
The interior features a flat bottom steering wheel, a 7.0in touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and comes with the distinctive Nissan DNA comprising high quality materials and styling features such as LED lighting, carbon fibre detailing and a piano black trim. The new car continues to build on its solid foundation and adds a suite of advanced technology too in the shape of Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility that creates a whole new way of driving. This offers driver assistance with front, side, and rear safety monitoring and intervention technologies. Nissan has equipped the new Sunny with features such as intelligent emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot warning and a rear cross traffic alert.
This latest model’s efficiency and power is revealed in its 1.6-litre engine, a refined CVT, and low-fuel consumption.
Now available across all showrooms of Al Masaood Automobiles, the authorized distributor of Nissan brands in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western Region, the 2020 Sunny has a starting price of Dh49,900 for the 1.6 S MT model.
