Bugatti Chiron, Veyron, and EB110 meet in Dubai for incredible photocall!

For many motoring enthusiasts dotted around the globe, seeing just one supercar drive down the road is a rare treat but here in the UAE they are a far more common sight. Almost every other car roaring along is a McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini or the like but this photoshoot featuring three generations of Bugatti posing in various backdrops in Dubai is a jaw meet floor moment. What we have here is the EB110 Super Sport, Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, and Chiron, together, in a very rare photocall featuring sweeping sandy roads to this beautiful skyline tipped by the Burj Khalifa.

In Bugatti terminology, this is the “Holy Trinity” of its modern supercar lineup. They each come from a different decade, but there are plenty of similarities such as all three boasting four turbochargers, carbon-intensive monocoque construction, all-wheel drive, and contemporary record-breaking performance.

The hypercars had numerous iconic colour schemes throughout the years but the black EB110, black Veyron and black Chiron driving down a sand-swept road sure make for an awe-inspiring sight.

Since COVID-19 has seen the closure of so many car plants all over the world - including the Bugatti Atelier in Molsheim - this is a good chance to sit back and take a look at the three iconic models that shaped the brand over the last 30 years.

Bugatti collectors worldwide would find it a huge challenge to have all three of these vehicles in their garage, but just having them together for a photo shoot is a special occasion in itself too as they have hardly been snapped together as beautifully as this.

Having the trio in one group pic is an incredible sight regardless of the location - but we'll understand if you pass out at seeing them lined up and ready to race at Yas Marina circuit...

Bugatti EB110 (1991-1995): This one was named after Ettore Bugatti and his 110th birthday, and had a body made from aluminium and carbon, wheels cast from magnesium, and the bolts made of titanium. Power came from a 3.5-litre V12 with four turbochargers and it could hit 0 to 100kph in 3.26 seconds and had a top speed of 351kph making it the fastest series-production car of its time.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (2005-2015): Named after French Grand Prix racing driver Pierre Veyron, it was developed during the Volkswagen era by chairman Ferdinand Piëch, and it shocked the world when it launched in 2005 because of its sheer power. It had an 8.0-litre W16 quad-turbocharged engine that delivered 987 horsepower and 1,500Nm of torque (in base form) enabling it to hit 0-100kph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 407kph. The Veyron Super Sport of 2010 had 1,184 horses and could reach 415kph. During a special attempt it was crowned the world’s fastest series-production super sports car, reaching a top speed of 431kph.

Bugatti Chiron (2016-present): The current model was named after interwar racing driver, Louis Chiron, and it has a similar configuration to the Veyron. Its updated 8.0-litre W16 quad-turbo engine has 1,479 horses and a peak torque of 1,600Nm. The maximum speed for road use is limited at 420kph but in 2019 a modified version hit 490.484kph, setting the fastest speed for a production car ever achieved.
