Watch: Lamborghini Huracan Spyder's limits tested on runway

The Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds on Merritt Island, Florida, with its 3 mile long (4.82km), 100 yard wide runway is one of the best facilities for straight line aerodynamic testing. Popular among manufacturers, tuners and racing teams, the ground is also accessible to individuals who want to test their personal vehicles.

Recently the owner of a black Lamborghini Huracan Spyder decided to test the limits of his car, which, powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10, has a claimed top speed of 198mph (319kph). Here’s a video of the Italian supercar hitting an impressive 196.4mph (316.1kph) in 2.3 miles (3.7 km).
