The German tuner's programme for the supercar - named after Ayrton Senna, one of Formula 1’s greatest drivers - includes an upgraded specification of the twin-turbo 4.0-litre. They have managed to extract an extra 100 horsepower from the to get to a new total of 889 horses and an enormous 888Nm.

That means the modified Senna now needs just 2.7 seconds to complete the 0-100kph run - that's a tenth of a second less than the standard model.

That's not all - its 0-200kph sprint is now completed in 6.5 seconds, that's down by 0.3s. Top speed is still 335kph.

Novitec added an N-Tronic module that introduces revised mapping and changes to the electronic boost pressure control along with a new custom exhaust system made from Inconel, a superalloy that is used on Formula 1 cars, to help the Senna get more power.

Novitec left the Senna's bodywork untouched but did give it a set of new forged wheels. In collaboration with Vossen, they measure 20-/21in front/rear, feature a seven twin-spoke design and are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero high-performance tyres.
