Dubai: Get ready, UAE! A once-in-a-lifetime musical moment is about to unfold as The Voice USA Season 26 champion Sofronio Vasquez III brings his soulful voice, inspiring story, and unforgettable performance to the Dubai World Trade Centre this September 6, 2025. But this isn’t just about watching the magic—you could be a part of it.

Calling all Filipino vocalists across the emirates!

In an exciting twist leading up to his first major international solo concert, Sofronio is inviting Filipino amateur singers across the UAE to step into the spotlight through the Sofronio Sound Alike Contest—a nationwide search for vocal talents who can channel the heart, soul, and power of his music.

This unique competition is your ticket to the big stage: the grand winner will take home Dh 3,000 and perform a duet with Sofronio himself live at DWTC.

In an exclusive message to Gulf News and his Filipino supporters in the UAE, Sofronio shared his gratitude, excitement, and a personal invitation to what promises to be a night to remember.

“To our friends who are always reading Gulf News, I would like to first thank you for your continued support to all artists featured on this platform. It means the world to us to know that we are seen, heard, and appreciated—especially by a community as vibrant and close-knit as the Filipino community in the UAE.”

With genuine warmth and humility, Sofronio acknowledged how media like Gulf News play a key role in empowering artists like him—not just by showcasing their talents, but by giving them space to connect with audiences around the world.

“As artists, we live to express not just our voices, but our hearts. I never imagined my journey would take me from a small town in the Philippines to the global stage. Now, it brings me to Dubai—and I feel incredibly blessed.”

And for fans looking forward to his debut concert in the Middle East, Sofronio had a clear and enthusiastic message:

“I won’t be shy to invite you—please come, watch, and support my concert at the World Trade Centre in Dubai this September 6. I have prepared songs that will touch people, that will speak to your soul. I assure you—it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be full of heart. See you all, and thank you in advance!”

More than just an invitation, it’s a promise: a celebration of music, memory, and Filipino pride.
