Malone Souliers celebrates Bridgerton

With Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton debuting its second season tomorrow, the anticipation for the period drama series conceived by Chris Van Dusen is running high. Separately, on the fashion front, everyone is waiting for the new Bridgerton X Malone Souliers collection.

This exclusive 14-piece Bridgerton capsule collection, which is being launched in partnership between Malone Souliers, Shondaland and Netflix, has been announced through a new campaign which celebrates the enchantment of making a grand entrance at any event.

Drawing inspiration from the often scandalous aura and remarkable outfits of the TV series, the Bridgerton X Malone Souliers collection reimagines the Maureen and Frankie styles with new opulence and materials that are a nod to the characters. These include pale blue floral jacquard for the character Daphne Bridgerton and a yellow moiré for Penelope Featherington.

In further tribute to Regency fashion, the Marguerite is finished in lace mesh with an empire-line silhouette and velvet bow embellishment. Overall, the embellishments are indeed ball-worthy and heighten the drama of the Marion slingback and the Sonia Sandal. The latter now features a plume of blue feathers inspired by the hats featured in the new season of the series.

Expectedly, the gentlemen’s style has also received a boost. There is a series of suave slip-on silhouettes “that are perfect for dancing (and courting), from the tasselled Alberto loafer in delicate turquoise suede to the Rene slipper, which has been reimagined in a dark navy floral jacquard inspired by Anthony Bridgerton’s wardrobe.”

We had a huge amount of fun designing this collection and getting inspired by the show’s incredible costumes, so I wanted to capture some of that energy for the big reveal.
