Dubai Crown Prince opens Gitex Technology

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, opened Gitex Technology Week on Sunday.

The trade event, held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre until Thursday, is expected to gather industry professionals from more than 150 countries.

Shaikh Hamdan, along with Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and other officials, toured the exhibition to mark the opening.
